1st International Student Research on Computing Studies  & Student Conference on Information Technology Education (SCITE) 2015

The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) and the Student Society of Information Technology Education (SSITE) in cooperation with Junior Philippine IT Education Researchers (JUPITER) will be hosting the 1st International Research Conference on Computing Studies (ISRCCS) as part of the Annual Student Conference of Information Technology Education (SCITE) on February 17-18, 2015 at Angeles University Foundation (AUF) Sports and Cultural Center, Mac Arthur Highway, Angeles City, Philippines.  The theme of this year’s conference is “Promoting Student Research, Creative Work and Innovation”.

PSITE, being the nation’s largest professional IT organization, hosts from time to time, several educational technology conventions and conferences. It is an organization with great diversity that supports members and affiliates with an array of professional learning and collaborative networking opportunities as they face the challenge of innovation and transforming education.

The Student Conference on IT Education is a two-day annual event organized by the Student Society of Information Technology Education Region III (SSITE – R3), which aims to engage the students in constructive dialogue on critical issues in IT and other related topics, promote innovation, develop leadership qualities, teamwork and camaraderie.  At least 3,000+ students from different schools in the region will convene along with young professionals, leaders and advocates.
