Greetings from the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Region III Chapter!

The Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) together with the Business Processing Association of Philippines( BPAP), The Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations, and The National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) is inviting members and students of our organization to supports its 2009 ICT awareness and talent advocacy program across the country’s “Next Wave Cities” namely, “Convergence 2009: Empowering The Filipino Through ICT converges with BPAP Talent Caravan”. to be held at Fontana Convention Center, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga on November 5-7, 2009.

The event will include track sessions featuring various CICT initiatives and talks from key players in the BPO-IT industry. There will also be an ongoing BPO-IT talent caravan throughout the event which can strengthen the link between local talents with ICT industries. With our support to this event, the academe (represented by PSITE Region 3) and industry can enhance collaboration in (IT) human resource development and keep us informed of the potential opportunities in the ICT industry

Aside from our expected participation in the three(3)-day event. Our organization will conduct the “Tech Day of Fun and Play”. This is an entertaining activity that will include Dance Competition, Costume Display(COSPLAY) and “Human Bingo” on November 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM.

We highly encourage your faculty members and students from your school to attend this 3-day event. More so, to join our PSITE Region 3’s Tech Day wherein a minimal registration fee of P 50.00 will be charged each participant to cover registration expenses only.
