WELCOME TO PSITE REGION 3
Greetings from the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Region III Chapter!
The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) was established to pursue the promotion of quality information technology (IT) education. Specifically, it aims to serve as a venue for the optimization and development of faculty members, curricula, projects, research, resources, and linkages in support of improving IT education. It also assists in policy formulation related to IT education.
The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators Region 3 (PSITE R3) started with a modest membership of 14 individuals and some 5 institutions, including the Angeles University Foundation and Holy Angel University, leading and providing support to the group.
Today, PSITE R3 has grown to some to more than 200 active individual members and more than 50 supportive colleges and universities in the region. With the declining demand for IT education we are experiencing in our country at the moment, an organization like PSITE can be a big help not only to promote IT education but also to provide the means to improve our lot and train our faculty to become better educators and be at par with the fast development of the IT industry.
We are certain that you will find your involvement in this prestigious organization very meaningful. We look forward to your support. Thank you very much.
